About Us

BPS provides friendly, reliable and quality secretariat services and office support which enable associations and charities to develop and thrive, better utilising their scarce resources.

Associations and charities often depend on their members to provide voluntary services to their Boards, Councils and committees.  They do not always have the resources to provide an office and the staff needed to run the organisation. BPS can provide a ‘virtual office’ and the administrative services that go with it.  We can also provide the resources you need to run a special project or event – an Annual General Meeting, a conference or a Strategic Planning Day.

Associations and Charities need a sound governance framework to operate effectively and mitigate risk – a constitution, a code of conduct, policies and procedures and a strategic plan. BPS can help ensure that you have an effective governance framework in place.

Financial Management

Boards and Councils of Associations and Charities have a fiduciary duty to act in the best interests of the organisation and need to ensure the financial integrity and viability of the organisation by having an appropriate financial management and compliance structure in place.

Membership Management

Without members, Associations would not exist. Members provide Associations with the means to carry on; Boards and Councils have a duty to look after their interests. BPS can help Associations with the ongoing management of its membership and the services provided to members

    Director
    Rosemarie has extensive experience in management and in working with the non-profit sector. She is directly responsible for key client management, strategic direction, government relations, treasury and regulatory compliance.

    Finance & Compliance

    Edmund Mayers is a qualified Chartered Secretary  and an Associate member of Governance New Zealand. He has over 35 years Financial Management and Accounting experience at Senior level. He has a wealth of knowledge and is an ardent advocate of adding value in all interactions with clients.

    Marketing, Communications & Events
    Laura has come from a scientific background having completed a Bachelor of Science degree from Otago University. Her experience in marketing comes from working as a Marketing Assistant for the past 4 years for a large international scientific supplies company.

    Office / Administration

    Andrea is an experienced administration professional with a background in corporate office management and executive assistance.  She also brings operational management experience from within the not-for-profit sector, and very much enjoys the variety of working with multiple stakeholders across diverse industries and sectors.
